Harwich Haven

For more than 900 years, Harwich has attracted trade from across the world. With its deep natural estuary it continues to contribute to the UK’s economic growth.

To safeguard this important driver of wealth and employment, Harwich Haven Authority was established by an act of Parliament in 1863. As a trust port, we’re responsible for preserving 150 square miles of the Haven; with 40% of the country’s container traffic travelling through the area, our role is critical to its ongoing success and development.

As an independent organisation with no shareholders, Harwich Haven Authority generate income through the services they provide. This enables them to reinvest surplus profits for the benefit of the stakeholders. Accountable too many stakeholders including The Department for Transport, local authorities, environmental groups, sailors, residents, community groups and their employees. They also maintain a continuous dialogue to ensure they provide a Haven that meets everyone’s needs.

We’ve enjoyed a longstanding working relationship with the team at Harwich Haven, and proud to say we’re regarded as their ‘go to’ for all internal and external marketing communications for print and design. Over the years we’ve completed various print projects, fulfilment and mailing of their annual accounts to stakeholders and design with installation of their onsite signage.

"I have worked with Mutual Media for many years because they always deliver, no deadline is too short and their design and print is of the highest quality. Nothing is too much trouble. I see them as an extension of my team because they provide such valuable input into our many projects. While the entire Mutual team are great... I must make special mention of their production manager, Jamie Dedman, who is possibly the most organised and efficient person I have ever met. He even manages to keep me on track with my projects by providing gentle nudges! Fiona Brunning, Corporate Affairs Manager, Harwich Haven Authority."
