Mutal Media
Welcome Video
This short animation is a welcome for Mutual Media. To make it more relatable, the project brief was to tell the story from the client's prospective and show the value that Mutual Media's service brings to their business.
The Characters
We designed two characters, Kevin and Tina. We wanted them to look friendly and cute but professional at the same time. I also included the latest addition to Mutual Media's office: their new mascot, the palm plant.
The Technical Side
The software we used is Adobe After Effects. With the addition of a plugin we love, Duik Bassel, We could rig the characters, so they can move around. The animation is mainly in 2D, apart from the tablet, for which we wanted the smoother rotations typical of 3D objects.
